Yes, VOTable in the first place, but I indeed had in mind more interactive
devices as Ivo correctly calls them. To push a bit further the idea
I think it would be nice if two applications could communicate "real time"
in full-duplex mode, so to say. I think that a "channel" must be
instantiated
between the two applications. Call it channel or servlet or session or a
socket, or whatever,
maybe even a web service? but I think that we need such a mechanism in
place.
