VirGO v1.3.1, a Stellarium based 3D visual browsing tool for the ESO

VirGO utilizes new SIA and SSA services for accessing science products, previews and transferring instrumental footprint overlays: http://archive.eso.org/apps/ssiserver/EsoProxySiap?FORMAT=METADATA http://archive.eso.org/apps/ssaserver/EsoProxySsap?REQUEST=queryData&FORMAT=METADATA
Supported platforms are MacOSX, Linux and Windows. VirGO also supports PLASTIC messaging and can be extended to further data services (e.g. HLA/ST-ECF). Migrating and exposing the historic ESO data through VO services is a gradual process; see the status page: http://archive.eso.org/cms/tools-documentation/which-data-are-available
