VOTable schema

Hi,

The question of the VOTable schema is effectively an old problem, which should be solved with the VOTable 1.2-beta version posted one year ago (see the VOTable WG page, at http://www.ivoa.net/cgi-bin/twiki/bin/view/IVOA/IvoaVOTable ). Matthew, did you try this last version ? This 1.2 version should become the recommended version before the VOTable WG is turned into a 'dormant' state, this fall.

About the 'recursivity' of the VOTable schema, there was a problem in the old code generators, but it should not be a problem any more. I remember to have proposed this possibility of a 'non-recurvise' VOTable schema at one of the IVOA meetings, but the answer (not mine!) was 'No'.

In fact it's the right time to argue about the final version of VOTable which will be proposed soon on the IVOA pages !
