Dear all

We apologize for filling your mailbox with an unsolicited EURO-VO announcement. We also apologize if you receive this e-mail more than once.

The European Virtual Observatory (EURO-VO: http://www.euro-vo.org) Project aims to deploy an operational Virtual Observatory (VO) in Europe. Its objectives are technology take-up and VO compliant resource provision, building the technical infrastructure and supporting its utilization by the astronomical community.

  1. If you want to subscribe to the EURO-VO mailing list, please go to:

          http://help.euro-vo.org/esupport/index.php?_m=news&_a=view

and specify your e-mail address in the "Subscribe" widget (third from the top in the right frame). You'll receive an e-mail message with a link to validate your subscription. Once subscribed, you will receive information on technical and capacity building workshops, news on VO tools and applications, and highlights on VO-based scientific results. You can cancel the subscription later at any moment, should you wish to do so.

2. If you are interested in applying to a EURO-VO supported research initiative, please see the details of a call for proposals to carry out astronomical projects using VO tools at:

          http://www.euro-vo.org/pub/fc/call.html

Deadline is April 1, 2007.

3. If you are affiliated with a data centre and/or a large project and you are interested in learning how to publish your data into the VO, please see the details of the "EURO-VO Workshop on how to publish data in the VO" at:

          http://esavo.esac.esa.int/EuroVOWorkshopJune2007/

We hope you have found this mail of interest.

Best regards,

Christophe Arviset (ESA) & Paolo Padovani (ESO) for the EURO-VO Facility Centre
