Ed,

the charter of the Semantics WG (renaming of the previous WG on UCDs) states clearly which are the topics we should discuss (the discussion forum is the union of the UCD and Semantics forums):

- maintenance of UCDs,
- IVOA SV,
- OntologIES.

That is, from bikes to Ferrari's. Why not. What is not wise is to discuss about bikes and Ferrari's at the same time! :-)
