I don't believe anyone substantially disagrees with this, phrased in these terms, and subject to Rob's concerns about whether we have the authority/effrontery to add such definitions.
The only variance, as far as I can tell, is over how extensive, and how thoroughly disambiguating, these definitions must be, should be, or may practically be.
I have a linked pair of suggestions.
I'd like to remove question-marks from this table promptly. I've raised the issue of inclusion or not in another thread. I'd also like to ask for a 'patron' for each of these vocabularies, just to shepherd them through whatever disagreements are involved (ideally off-list, so we don't swamp the list all over again), in time for a published WD soon.
2. Presuming that Rick will take IVOA-T (and presuming that we retain momentum with that and are trying to get something out very soon), can we confine the above how-extensive, how-thorough, discussion to the IVOA-T thread? I think the dispute only practically applies to that vocabulary.
All the best,
Norman
