that is exactly what I think we are doing. We are trying to jointly specify the needs. I just want to put it in writing so we have something on which to base our discussions. I don't think that's any harm either. For me, a written document is just a living thing that can be easily changed. I don't see a document as something that has to be 100% right before making it available for discussion.
We are all trying to make the IVOA a success. Let's continue to do so, even if different "styles" appear on the way.
