Proposal for answering the RFC comments

Dear all,

thanks very much to all those putting an effort in the recent discussions. I think we are really close to fulfilling our goal of finishing the ADQL.

I would like to propose the following approach for answering the RFC comments currently (at the time of writing this mail) at the RFC pages: each comment is assigned to a person who writes a detailed answer and prepares to expose it to the community during the VOQL session, if necessary.

Briefly, I think it would be interesting to have the following approximate schema (see details below):

• STC-REGION related issues are answered by Pat and Jeff
• editorial things are answered by Inaki
• Examples in the document to be worked out bu Yuji
• inclusion of coordinate system vocabulary to be answered by Francois
  (to create a vocabulary for it; could be extracted from the STC doc if
  relevant)
• units issue solution to be proposed by Francois (looking at last mails in the list from Alex and Pat, etc.)
• LON and LAT things to be answered by Benjamin
• general issues (like things that have already been agreed within the VOQL-TEG for instance) are answered by me

This is more or less it. Each of you could write an answer for the allocated comment, send it to the group, and I'd eventually upload it to the Wiki pages signing as I said in a previous mail (e.g.: Pat Dowler for the VOQL-TEG. Approved by Chair).
