Hi Colleagues!

I'm not sure who answered Mark's question on the ROUND function. Depending on how you read the answer, the answer is ambiguous...

how come the round(x,n) ("Round to nearest integer") function has two arguments?
VOQL-TEG Answer: This is an error and will be corrected in the next version of the document.

There is an error, but I'm not sure which bit is thought to be an error in the document. I think it is "Round to nearest integer", which is far too restrictive. The function with two args is supported as far as I know by the main manufacturers (both parameters are required in SQL Server). My understanding is it rounds to the given number of decimal places, with the default being to round to the nearest integer. You use a negative number to round to the left of the decimal point.

I didn't want to alter over another member of the TEG, so please alter the answer, kind colleague!

Kindest regards
Jeff
