Sounds like we are motivated by the same frustration. So what you are calling for is consistant pre-release versioning and posting--agreed! We can do this on the twiki by informal agreement of the WG. I would like to have us adopt the post-release convention for the NS URI; however, it's not critical--as long as we're consistant in a pattern.
I believe Vivek has been in charge of ADQL XSD care and feeding. Vivek, could you endevour to follow these guidelines when you post the ADQL XSD (some of which you may already be doing): o Maintain a consistant Twiki page where the latest ADQL doc and schema
can be found throughout the development phase. o adopt a consistant versioning pattern for the ADQL namespace URI (I
recommend the standard IVOA convention.) o make sure that all versions of ADQL remain posted at the same URL,
even after they are deprecated by later versions. o announce any changes in version of the XSD and the
associated translation service at JHU.
We need a similar discipline for the SkyNode WSDL.
