Dear all,

I appreciate the effort that Brian is doing in defining his catalogue data model, but there has not been any consensus yet on the type of Catalogue data model that the IVOA will endorse.

As some of you -including Brian- know (from the Catalogue Data Model mail list) I have called for a meeting on this issue before the interop (in particular on monday the 5th in the afternoon) to clarify precisely many of these issues. After that meeting, I planned to have small meetings to the chairmans of those groups with which the Catalogue DM might have a relation (in particular, and as reported in Kyoto, with the SkyNode - one of the hypothetical Catalogue DM consumers).

Therefore, you can allocate time if you want to Brian, but not to report on the IVOA Catalogue Data Model, which I will do in the Data Model session as per Jonathan's agenda.

I will be happy to re-report at the VOQL session should you consider it necessary.

Cheers,
P.
