We now have a pilot VOSpace 1.0 installation available for interoperability testing.
The endpoint of the service is http://vops1.hq.eso.org:8080/vospace/ services/VOSpacePort
and the vospace root URL is vos://org.eso!vospacetest/
It implements the v1.0 interface with http-put and http-get transports (which have a crude one-time-password mechanism) and stores the data/metadata in a back-end NGAS system. There are stlll some inefficiencies in the implementation that require some changes to the NGAS backend, but otherwise I think that this provides minimal VOSpace compliance.
I think that I have put in place the necessary security infrastructure to accept requests signed by certificates from the current Astrogrid and NVO CAs.
N.B. this is a pilot installation - do not use to store important/ sensitive data - there is no guarantee of data safety.
