Yes.
First session - VOSpace-1.x
We still have a commitment to complete VOSpace-1.0, and provide VOSpace-1.1 with containers and links.
So the first session is for completing and reporting on VOSpace-1.0, and discussing what changes are needed to implement VOSpace-1.1. We need to get these done asap, as people want to start using VOSpace now. Unless we make extraordinary progress in the second session, and everything moves to REST based services within the next six months, we will still need to deliver a VOSpace-1.1 SOAP service .

Second session - VOSpace-2.x
This is the working title for discussion on moving VOSpace to a REST and/or WebDav service.
It was combined with the second GWS discussion because there would be a lot of overlap with the more general discussion of using REST for the other GWS services.

Yep, these look fine.

If you think there won't be enough time in the second session to cover what you have found with WebDav, we could add it to the end of the first session (need to check with Guy first).

Although the VOSpace-1.x services will still be SOAP services, given that it looks like we will go for some form of REST service for 2.x it would make sense to include suggestions for making VOSpace-1.1 more REST friendly. Things like deprecating the paging in ListNodes, and changing the transfer operations to return an object representing the state of the transfer.

Ideally, it would be good to come up with a gradual migration from SOAP to REST, where we could have the same back-end business logic providing both SOAP and REST services.
Whether this is a realistic goal is what the VOSpace-2.0 discussion would be about.

Thanks,
Dave
