US (NVO/VAO) opinions on HTTP GET in VOSpace 2.0

In an application server, typically (tomcat etc.).  Running VO services
such as SIA, vospace, etc.  Often a machine is dedicated to this purpose
with no conventional Web server.  (I am assuming that "web server" does
not equate to HTTP GET).

Well then we need it and a mere Web server won't do.
