Time Series and VOTables

All,

Forgive me if this has gotten discussed to death before and I've managed to miss it...

However, I'm currently working on a tool for displaying, comparing and analysing time series data, this being one of the next generation Starlink applications (alongside TOPCAT, TREEVIEW, SPLAT et al.).

My question is therefore, is there a "standard" way of marking up time series data inside a VOTable so my application can read/write them in a vaguely interoperable way?
