VOTable discussions

Dear VOTablers,

The session devoted to VOTable was held this morning (Beijing time) and we mainly discussed how to describe accurately the coordinates and the times used in VOTable (referring to the STC model). The compromise which could be reached still looks complex at first sight, but has the essential merit of proposing a solution to this long-standing question, in a generic way which can cope with any reference frame which can be defined in the STC model.

We hope that the changes which will occur in an upgraded version of the VOTable schema (which will be version 1.2) will not create problems for the running applications. If you have important remarks about the changes, it would be better to react before the next Friday (Beijing time, i.e. UT+8) -- it is really time to conclude !
