VOTable/STC Connection note

Dear VOTablers,

There will be a very short session on VOTable at the Cambridge meeting, which will partly be joined with other WGs (the agenda will be posted early next week). One of the points is the specification of coordinate systems in a VOTable document (replacement of the COOSYS tag which will be deprecated in the next version of VOTable).

This VOTable/Space-Time-Coordinates connection will be described by a dedicated IVOA note. A first draft of it can be downloaded from http://www.ivoa.net/internal/IVOA/IvoaVOTable/note_stc.pdf (the HTML version as http://www.ivoa.net/internal/IVOA/IvoaVOTable/note_stc.html).

We hope, for the next meeting, to be able to complete this note with a more extensive description of all the possible coordinates.
